Education
The Crossroads region is home to a number of public and private school districts, five community colleges and one technical institute. The 10-county region has 24 public school districts which contain more than 90 schools with a total enrollment of over 39,600 students. The region also has 13 private schools which enroll a total of nearly 1,600 students.More than 37 percent of people living in the Crossroads region have a high school degree and more than 33 percent have attended college or hold an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate level-degree. The percentage of people in the region with a high school degree is above the U.S. average in all but one county and is above the Arkansas state average in five of the ten counties.
